→ General terms of sale and delivery

Terms are valid for all deliveries from Eikund, unless otherwise agreed.

→ Dimensions

The dimensions of all articles are given in MILLIMETRES (mm).

→ Availability

Please note that most of our products are custom made and therefore not in stock. Items are specially made for each customer after an order has been placed. Isbjørn is produced in batches, and you may therefore experience temporary shortages.

→ Order Handling

After receiving the order, an order confirmation will be sent via email. All order confirmations should be checked by buyer immediately and errors must be reported to Eikund.

→ Delivery Schedules

Delivery time for our online store items is normally 5-10 business days from order receipt to shipment from Eikund. Delivery on special products as well as large orders is agreed on a case by case basis. Should Eikund learn that it is not possible to deliver the goods within the agreed period the customer will be informed of the delay and receive a new delivery date.

→ Tolerances

All colour samples or samples of wood can only be considered as a guide. Eikund cannot be held responsible for any differences between the sample and the delivered goods, as colour changes occur naturally over a period.

→ Delivery

The customer is obligated to check the packaging upon receipt of the goods and check that the number of packages corresponds to the delivery note. If goods and/or packaging are damaged upon receipt the responsibility to accept the order with reservation and to make a remark of this on the delivery note lies upon the recipient. Any damage from transport must be reported directly to the freight forwarder no later than 48 hours after receipt.

→ Warranty

Eikund products are guaranteed against all manufacturing or material defects for the warranty period as defined by the domestic legal system. If a product fails due to a manufacturing or material defect, we will replace or repair it. Wear and tear due to normal everyday use on upholstery, surfaces, etc. are considered to be defects.

→ Complaints

Any complaints must be filed in writing no later than 14 days after receipt of the goods. This must be completed and sent to post@eikund.com for evaluation. Any complaints received later than this date cannot be considered unless it is a question of manufacturing defects.

→ Return of Goods

Return of goods only upon approval by Eikund and only in original packaging. Goods that is not properly packed will not be taken into consideration. Eikund will refund the full cost of the item(s) minus shipping costs.

→ Payment

Eikund reserves the right to demand full or partial advance payment. Delivered goods remain the property of Eikund until the full purchase price, delivery charges, and interest debts is fully paid. Conditions of payment are stated on the invoice. If the purchaser does not pay in full on the due date, Eikund is entitled to charge interest payable on arrears at a rate of 2 % per month.

→ Force Majeure

Eikund is not responsible for delay or failure to deliver if the issues are caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control. Conditions such as acts of war, terror, strikes, emergency, earthquakes, or other natural disasters.

Eikund is not responsible for any printing errors and reserves the right to make changes or to terminate the manufacture of any model without prior notice.
