The Treasure Hunt

A treasure hunt starts with a mystery.  

For us, the question was:
What happened to Norwegian design?  

For some reason, Norwegian design classics had drifted out of sight.  
Quietly living on in the corners of vintage shops,  
or in homes of an older generation.  

 So, this became our project: 
To bring forgotten pieces back to life. 

It’s not always easy.   
A lot of detective work.
A lot of looking. 
And not always a lot of finding.  

But when preparation meets opportunity, 
You’re bound to get lucky once or twice.  

After that, it’s just a matter of following the white rabbit.   

As it happens some of the Norwegian masters had children. Grandchildren.  
People who’d like to see their grandfather’s creations out in the world again. 

So here we are: 
Collecting stories. Searching for pieces of forgotten history,  
putting them back together again. Piece by piece.
