Eikund – October 2025
Come sit with us – community dinner
Our furniture is made to invite presence and hold space. To bring people together and to create connection.
For conversations. For quiet thoughts. For the ordinary, and the extraordinary.
Above all, our furniture is meant to belong, in someone’s home or in a shared space, and to offer that deep breath out. A place to let your shoulders drop, to talk about your day, and to simply let go.
That idea became the starting point for our latest campaign – when we decided to walk the talk and invite six people to our first Eikund community dinner.
A gathering hosted in a very special place, the same town where Eikund began almost ten years ago, in Egersund.
There’s something about being a host. We love to meet new people and share good food. To gather around a table and be present when we so often meet through screens and Zoom calls instead.
We often find ourselves wondering what the designers of our chairs would think if they saw how their legacy has been carried on. If they felt the same sense of meaning in creating these pieces as we do in bringing them back to life.
In many ways, each chair still carries the values of its original maker – in the way it welcomes you.
The generous embrace of the Fluffy Chair.
The elegant simplicity of the Hunter Chair.
The subtle authority and comfort of the Ry Chair.
As a producer of these design classics, we continue to choose pieces and build a world around the values we believe in.
We value connection.
We value comfort.
We value Norwegian design history.
We value inclusivity.
So, believe us when we say come sit with us.
Because we truly mean it.
We hope this dinner, and this campaign, is just the beginning.
A first step towards inviting you into our world, our conversations, and our community.
Every chair holds a story. Every table invites a moment. Our community dinner reminded us that design means little without the people who bring it to life. Here’s to more shared meals, conversations, and moments of connection.
